Capital City Freeze Tournament

Overview

The Springfield Youth Hockey Association cordially invites you to join us for the 2019 Capital City Freeze Hockey Tournament in Springfield, Illinois!

The tournament is held annually and features teams from all across the mid-west who travel to the centrally located Capital City of Illinois for a high level of competitive tournament play, in addition to the wide range of off-ice entertainment options. Previous year's tournaments have featured over 350 players, 60 coaches, and 20 teams hailing from Chicago, St. Louis, and beyond.

Springfield is the seat of Illinois government, and is the hometown of one of our nation's greatest leaders - President Abraham Lincoln. The city offers much in the way of historical sightseeing including the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, and also Lincoln's original home and tomb. Visitors to the city will also appreciate the varied downtown dining and shopping opportunities.
