SYHA Scholarships 2025-2026

• Ron Stone Memorial Scholarship: In memory of Ron Stone, a member of one of the founding families of the SYHA who was a lifelong supporter of the organization. 

• Mike Zumer Memorial Goalie Scholarship: In memory of Mike Zumer, of Lincoln, co-founder of the Women’s Hockey program in Springfield, IL with his wife, Jill. Before coaching his children, he served as the goalie coach at Lawrence University in Appleton, WI. Mike filled nearly every role in the rink—fan, referee, coach, and goalie—never far from his signature “special” water bottle.
