ADM (6U & 8U)

The ADM (American Developmental Model) Program is for younger players that have graduated from a Learn to Play (LTP) Program either at Springfield Nelson Center or their local association if they have recently moved into the area. This program is for players beginning to play hockey that focuses on skating development, stick handling, shooting, and developing a love for the game of ice hockey. The two levels of play in this program are 6U (Mini-Mites) and 8U (Mites) and is for birth years 2013 and after. This program registers through the Missouri Youth Hockey League just like the Springfield Kings travel teams.

This program is a joint partnership between the Springfield Youth Hockey Association and the Springfield Park District.

USA Hockey Association is changing the way they label all their programs to numbers instead of names but both are provided here for your information while the terms Mini-Mites and Mites is being phased out.
