Tier League Rec Hockey

The Tier 1 and Tier 2 Recreational Youth Hockey League is for older players that have graduated from a Learn to Play (LTP) Program either at Springfield Nelson Center or their local association if they have recently moved into the area or have aged out of the ADM Program. This program is for players either beginning to play hockey that focuses on skating development, stick handling, shooting, and developing a love for the game of ice hockey after LTP graduation or want to continue to play hockey not at a competitive level. The two levels of play in this program are Tier 1 (Lower Playing Level) and Tier 2 (Higher Playing Level). This program registers through the Missouri Youth Hockey League just like the Springfield Kings travel teams.

This program is a joint partnership between the Springfield Youth Hockey Association and the Springfield Park District.
